How I Started Streaming and Why I Never Stopped

I never planned to be a streamer. It just happened naturally, like most things that are actually worth doing.

The games that shaped me

I grew up playing PUBG and Diablo. PUBG taught me to play under pressure, make fast decisions and accept that sometimes you lose without doing anything wrong. Diablo kept me in front of the screen for hours without feeling time pass. You know the feeling.

But the game that truly marked me was New World by Amazon. An MMO with modern mechanics, incredible graphics and a combat system where you actually felt in control. I played Bow and Spear — a combination I refined all the way to end-game. I got there every single time.

Until Amazon announced they were shutting down the servers. I'm not sure what I felt in that moment — somewhere between frustration and gratitude that I got to play it at all. New World remains the best MMO I've ever played, and it probably always will be.

How I got into streaming

It wasn't my idea. The community moderator told me one day to give it a try. Just like that. And I did.

My first live had 0 people in chat. And you know what — it didn't bother me at all. I felt completely natural, like I was at home. I talked, I played, I stayed. For weeks it was like that, nobody watching, and I still loved it.

That confirmed to me that I'm not doing this for numbers. I do it because I enjoy it. The difference between someone who streams for an audience and someone who streams because that's just who they are — you feel it immediately.

Why FiveM and why FplayT

I started with Bannerlord — a medieval strategy game I really enjoyed. But at some point I discovered FiveM. The same community moderator recommended I try the FplayT server.

I tried it. And I stayed. Everyone I talked to, everyone I spent time with on Discord, everyone I laughed with on stream — they were all there. At some point it doesn't make sense to be anywhere else.

On FplayT I play as my character Ionut Gresie. I stream every morning from 9:10 AM, Monday through Friday. Not because I have to — because I want to.

What Kcrypton means now

The Kcrypton project started in May 2025. Since then I've streamed every day, grown attached to every person who joined the live and built something I hadn't planned — a small but real community.
